Randstad Student Support team is looking for reliable and committed individuals to work with students in Huddersfield to provide specialist notetaking support for students living with disabilities in Huddersfield.

  • Responsibilities:

  • To produce an accurate and legible typed record of lectures, seminars and discussions in the student’s preferred format
  • Maintain confidentiality of the student – do not disclose any information regarding students to anyone outside other than randstad
  • To act in the best interest of students at all times and also working within the policies and procedures of the university or college.
  • To follow an agreed recording and reporting system in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining a professional role as a note taker and being aware of the need to maintain this professional relationship with the student at all times
  • Acting in the best interests of learners at all times whilst also working within the policies and procedures of the university.
  • Requirements:

  • The equipment and ability to complete typed notes
  • Able to present notes in a legible and presentable manner
  • Accurate spelling and grammar
  • Good typing skills – preferable
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • You will need to be able to work quickly and under time restrictions
  • Good organisational skills and communication skills
  • Desirable:

  • Obtained or studying at degree level.
  • Successful applicants will be invited to take part in a telephone assessment and also interviewed to discuss suitability for the role.
