An exciting opportunity has arise for an accounts assistant in North Manchester to join one of UK’s largest distributor of floor-covering.

This is a great opportunity for an individual who want to join a business on a growth trajectory.

Reporting to the Financial controller you will be responsible for completing routine accounting transactions of the business and month end reporting process.

Duties include:

Raising of purchase orders and matching invoices

Processing supplier payments

Liaising with suppliers and undertaking supplier statement reconciliations

Bank reconciliations

Assisting the Financial Controller in month end duties

Verifying petty cash balances held including reconciliation of each period’s expenses

Posting of all business expenses

Assist with VAT return queries

Produce financial reports and data analysis

Assist with the Group external audit process following year-end

YOU

Experience of bookkeeping, purchase ledger or financial administration

Excellent IT skills and communication skills

Sage 50 knowledge desirable

Organised, detail oriented and high level of accuracy
