Business Development Manager: North Based: ideally in Leeds or Manchester £35,000 P/A + car or car allowance & OTE Full Time | Permanent | Field Based Would you thrive in a newly created role? Liberty CL Recruitment is delighted to be working with a professional, leading supplier in recruiting a Business Development Manager. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be kept very busy in a newly created opportunity! The salary is up to £35,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus numerous benefits, including; car allowance or company vehicle, discretionary bonus scheme, OTE, 23 days’ holiday + bank holidays, product discounts, plus more! The main purpose of this role is to focus on growing the market share, building the brands presence and developing existing partners, in line with company objectives. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for going in search of and spotting new business opportunities, achieving a range of monthly, promotional and annual objectives, and ensuring new and existing leads are followed-up and executed. You will be tasked with understanding existing customer needs, supporting them via monthly visits, and delivering regular onsite product training where required. You will also look to increase brand loyalty, maintain a consistent brand presence through social media, as well as assist with collating, analysing and sharing competitor information. As an individual, it is essential that you have previous experience operating at a similar level and have a wide knowledge of professional beauty sectors, such as; hair care, hair colour, styling, nails and beauty, barbering or electricals would be a benefit. You will need to be a target-driven individual, be commercially astute, collaborative and a confident, creative presenter, proficient with PowerPoint and/or Keynote platforms. You will also need to be resilient, tenacious and a clear communicator. Demonstrable experience of prospecting, canvassing and developing new business accounts is an essential. This is a full-time, permanent role. The business hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. There will be regular travel required to various customer locations and cash and carry.
