Metalis are working with a specialist Manufacturer of Sterile Medical Products. Our client is looking for a competent CAD Engineer to support the Engineering Manager in new design work.
Ideally you will have experience working with Stainless Steel and how it fits within a Manufacturing Environment. This is a great time to join a company who through continued investment is growing at a rapid rate.
Daily Duties
Working to client briefs to create detailed design drawings.
Creation of detailed GA Drawings.
Reviewing existing designs and making improvements where possible.
Using drawings to create BOM's for the purchasing team.
Working with various departments to ensure a smooth delivery of projects.
Reviewing colleagues' work.
About You
Must be able to use Inventor 3D design software.
Experience working with AutoCAD.
Knowledge of an engineering department.
Understanding of moving parts within a design such as gears and motors.
Confident on Microsoft packages.
Able to work collaboratively within a team.
Knowledge of different design suites such as Solid works, Creo and AutoDesk.
We are looking to speak with Design Engineers, Draughtspersons, CAD Engineers, 3D Designers. This is a permanent role with an immediate start and good progression/learning opportunities.
