:
What you’ll be doing:
Visiting individuals’ houses to install, adjust or deactivate tagging equipment
Checking and cleaning equipment on issue and collection
Collecting any equipment needed for evidence
Liaising with the control centre to report any issues or subject breaches
Showing respect to subjects to build confidence in the justice system and in their safety
Keeping paperwork up-to-date and following standard operational procedures
Taking part in meetings with your team and line manager.
What we’re looking for:
Full driving license and Right to Work documents
Friendly and personable with the ability to put people at ease
Resilience, patience and ability to adapt to different circumstances
an interest in getting out and about and travelling around to visit people in their own homes.
Ability to work on a shift rota basis (night shifts, day shifts and part-time hours available)
The nature of what we do means that your shifts could fall on any day of the year including Christmas and Bank Holidays. You’ll be able to liaise with your manager to book your paid annual leave whenever is convenient for you in coordination with other team members.
About Electronic Monitoring Services (EMS)
We’re helping to ensure public safety across the country and address the growing concerns about overcrowding in prisons. As part of the Criminal Justice System in England and Wales, we electronically monitor the location of individuals who may pose a risk to people or their property. Electronic Monitoring technology is used to deter individuals from breaking curfews and support them to successfully complete their sentences.
