At A Glance Finance Partner£35,000Full time role – based on site. Based in Huddersfield (HD2) Nigel Wright are partnering with a Social Enterprise Organisation based in Huddersfield, where people are their core focus.As a Finance Partner, you will be reporting to the Associate Director of Finance to support the accurate and timely provision of annual budgets and costings.   The role Overview Key Responsibilities
Provide support to and deputise for the Associate Director of Finance and I.T.

Provide support to and cover for the Financial Controller as required, but specifically to provide back-up for sessional clinician pay /pension processing and management accounts.

Maintain a spreadsheet costing system to support provision of quotations for new and ad-hoc additional services.

Financial modelling to support new business tenders.

Analysis of financial data and provision of reports as required to directors and managers.

Financial modelling of key lines / “what if” scenarios e.g. GP Pay.

Lead on the co-ordination of the annual budget setting process, including liaison with key budget holders in accordance with Finance department agreed timescales.

Maintenance and continual improvement of annual budget spreadsheets and links to management accounts.

Provision of data for the purposes of renewal of Medical Indemnity and Corporate insurances.

Preparation of annual audit schedules.

Provide support in the introduction of new financial processes or software.

Provide annual gender pay report and ONS returns.

Any other duties as required by the Associate Director of Finance and I.T. or Director of Finance.
Requirements for the role.
Working towards or completed Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB) qualification – CIMA or ACCA

Minimum 3 years’ experience of working within a finance department, with experience of management and statutory accounts production, budget setting and spreadsheet modelling.

Full understanding of accounting and budgeting principles and ability to produce full monthly management accounts.
