We are looking for an experienced IT professional to join us as our Head of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance.
What will you do?
You’ll play a key part in our dynamic Group IT team and be primarily accountable for the delivery of the Redde Northgate group IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Services. Leading a team of 4 specialists, you will contribute to the strategic planning for managing information across the group. Consistent and compliant outcomes will be delivered by developing, implementing and overseeing policies and procedures.
Responsibilities will include:
Delivering the vision and strategy for IT governance, and development and implementation of the Information Management System (IMS)
You will be able to drive and deliver continuous improvements to internal governance, risk, and compliance activities, as well as the IMS
Liaising with the relevant functions to ensure a coordinated and appropriate risk management strategy is implemented
Designing and implementing strategic plans to ensure IT remains in line with changing policy needs
You’ll develop policies and procedures that ensure all business systems meet the group’s requirements
Allocating the right levels of resource to meet priorities agreed with internal and external stakeholders
Agreeing and managing service levels with 3rd party business system suppliers
Ensuring research is carried out into emerging application technologies
Staying on top of industry best practice to maintain competitive advantage within the group’s digital products and services

About you
Primarily you will have extensive experience and specialist expertise in governing and managing information security activities within a complex business environment
Ability to establish relationships and influence key stakeholders to build the reputation of Information Security
You’ll have experience in developing and managing information security audits and assurance programmes, including assessing the security of third parties
You will have experience in delivering and monitoring an information security service, managing information security reporting frameworks and dashboards
Appropriate qualifications, such as CISM and CISSP, with knowledge of common information security management/governance frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL and COBIT
