We are recruiting for a Helpdesk Support Analyst to join our IT team in Huddersfield on a permanent basis. This is a great role for someone who enjoys giving great customer service and supporting customers with their queries (full training provided). Learn to use a range of skills and tools to do your role whilst working in a tight-knit, culturally diverse team!
This is a hybrid working role, where you will work form home and Huddersfield office on a shift pattern between 7am and 8pm (no more than 37.5 hours) with requirement to work 2 weekends out of 6 (days off in the week to compensate).
Reporting to the Service Desk Team Leader, you will be part of a six member team within the IT Service team.
What you will be doing in your role:
- Manage inbound customer queries via phone and email.
- Be first point of contact for IT issues and work within defined SLAs.
- Speaking with customer to provide updates and manage escalations.
- Perform scheduled daily tasks and work well within the team to transfer knowledge.
What kind of experience you should have:
- Excellent customer service skills from any industry.
- Will consider college or university students looking to build a career in IT.
- Good verbal communication skills and phone manner.
- Great listening skills and be able to multi-task.
- A desire to learn and be a team player.
