HR Business Partner (3 months FTC with a review at the end to possibly extend)
Hours of work are – Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
Our prestigious client – a social enterprise providing essential public services, are seeking an experienced HR Partner to join their HR Leadership team for a period of three months, with a review at the end to possibly be extended. The position is to start asap. The role may potentially be extended or even switch to permanent post. However, at this stage this is not an option.
Responsible for the provision of professional advice on people management issues to the directors, senior managers, managers, and staff across the organisation.
The post holder will focus on 2 key areas of the business:
Support change and implement action plan for the contact centre hub
Work on ‘Listen Up’ Programme, providing a voice to those working within their services
Key Responsibilities:
Work with managers across the business to ensure people management policies & procedures are met within appropriate timelines
To provide specialist advise to managers and staff on terms and conditions of employment and HR procedures
To review and develop HR policies and procedures to which comply with employment legislation and good practise guidance to meet the organisations changing requirements and ensure they adhered to
To handle complex casework in relation to disciplinary action and grievances, assessing and recommending appropriate courses of action to ensure the effective resolution of staff management problems in a fair and consistent manner
To support new initiatives and service developments working with managers to identify and address issues relating to tenders, TUPE, recruitment, change management etc
Essential requirements:
Degree educated / CIPD qualified
Experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures
Experience of leading projects within a partner function
Experienced in working with senior managers to address complex staffing situations
Experience of working in a rapidly changing and challenging environment
