Are you are Qualified and caring Teacher? Prospero Teaching are looking for an outstanding SEN Teacher (KS4) to join a fantastic Alternative Provision in Huddersfield.

You will be responsible for providing quality teaching to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, ensuring they reach their full potential.

You should also have a good understanding of the current SEN Code of Practice, and be committed to promoting the school’s ethos of inclusion.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons, and be able to differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils. You must be able to work collaboratively with other staff, carers and external agencies, to ensure that all pupils have the best possible educational experience.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location – Huddersfield
Position – SEN Teacher – KS4
Start date – ASAP
Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing
End date (if applicable) – N/A
Full time/part time – Full Time
Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £120 per day
Hours – 8:00am – 4:00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
Previous experience working in a UK or SEN school/similar setting
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
