We have an opportunity for an experienced Project Officer to join our Early Support Service overseeing the Reducing Parental Conflict (RPC) Programme across Kirklees. This is an exciting time to join the Early Support Service following the receipt of funding from the Department of Work and Pensions to support the improvement, delivery and evaluation of Kirklees Parental Conflict programme in relation to supporting healthy relationships across Kirklees.
You will be responsible for the developing training programmes for frontline staff working in services across the Early Help System. You will deliver bespoke briefing sessions for those working with specific groups to ensure identification and delivery of Parental Conflict interventions.
You will stay abreast of developments in the Parental Conflict and Healthy Relationships agenda, to ensure that Kirklees delivers evidence-based programmes for families.
You will lead on the development of a Relationships Manifesto to pull together all the relationships work across Kirklees.

You will need excellent relationship building skills as this role will include working with colleagues across the Early Help System. You will also work in a highly collaborative way with colleagues from partner organisations. You will have training and support from your line manager, the Early Support Team Manager.

As a member of staff working within the Early Support Service, it is expected that a proportion of your time will be based in the Families Together Hubs located across Kirklees, this includes centres in all 4 localities of Kirklees, the main centres being: Slaithwaite Town Hall, Batley and Birstall Childrens’ Centre, Dewsbury Moor Childrens’ Centre, and Chestnut Centre. You should expect to travel to various locations across Kirklees as part of your tole. There will be flexibility in the working pattern of your role which needs to centre around service need.
