Resourcing Administrator

Our client is looking for an experienced Resourcing Administrator to join their friendly team. The role is to ensure appropriately qualified, trained, and experienced staff resources are rostered in time for the effective and efficient provision of services in line with the Area and Contact Centre staffing plans.

Key responsibilities:

You will be responsible for dealing with incoming queries as well as making outbound calls to employed and sessional staff and recruitment agencies to ensure staff coverage

Organising appropriate rota cover for all in-hours services as required

Ensure that all doctor, nurse, and staff availabilities are added to the database

Administer manual confirmations as and when required (for clinicians who do not use or cannot access the WEB)

Actively encourage and promote WEB access to all clinical and non-clinical staff

Management of late cancellations

Liaise with the Operations staff to give information of up to date situation on a daily basis of sessions covered and dealing with any problems relating to the in-hours rota

Liaise with locality administration staff to support on non-clinical and clinical rota fill as and when required for in-hours sessions

Actively and clearly report any issues relating to the rota database using identified reporting processes as agreed with the Workforce Manager

Maintain an accurate and up to date database of sessional GPs

Contacting GPs for renewal of certificates prior to expiry

Act as first point of contact for information relating to sessional GPs

Liaise with GPR Area coordinators with rota and manually input payments accordingly

Adjust payments for Safe haven and sessional GPs

Communicate effectively with Locum agencies ensuring bookings are accurate

Process agency confirmations & timesheets; liaising with finance for payment

Arrange training for agency locums

Experience and skills required:

Previous administration experience of a similar nature is essential

You must also be able to negotiate and discuss realistic solutions

An ability to grasp new systems and procedures is essential, as you will need you to be able to adapt to real time changing situations

You must also be IT Literate, in particular MS Office
