**Sales Engineer**

Location: Brighouse (HD6)

Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-1pm.

Salary: £37k to £40k (dependant on experience).

Your duties will include, but aren’t limited to:

Sizing, selection and pricing of Control and Choke valves to meet customer specific process and requirements. This will involve liaison with other departments when required.

Enquiry / contract specification review identifying areas of concerns regarding Technical / Quality and all other areas within the business.

Preparing Tender in Line with their Bid Package requirements and in accordance with KOSO Kent Introl procedures and agreed business methodologies specific to the country or region being supported.

Follow up on quotations submitted to ascertain whether customer requires further clarification, support for order outcome.

Support geographical offices in terms of technical support

Entering Sales Purchase Orders.

Direct customer contact.

Obtaining Technical / Quality / HSE information.

Communication with internal and external company representatives.

Challenging the systems and processes within the company to drive improved efficiency and continuous improvement.

Integrating with external and internal support resources to ensure delivery of the annual budget and department objectives are met
Other duties:
Travel Internationally and in the UK.

Covering Aftermarket as required.

Liaising with Sub-suppliers.

Any other duties as directed by the Sales Office Manager / Sales Director.

Accurate checking of orders against quotations, accurate order entry using the Sizing software, PLM and other processes.

Ensuring the accuracy of information at each hand over element of an order, including but not limited to accurate Data sheets (CVTS), Quality plans and deliveries. This is to minimise downstream process errors.

Accurate logging of enquiries, orders and correspondence on the data base.
Required skills and experience:
Communication, literacy, presentation, computer and organisation skills.

The ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.

Knowledge of bought-out items.

Understand quality, HSE and commercial issues.

Technical awareness.

Market knowledge.

Experience within a general engineering background.

Technical sales experience selling to End users and contractors.

Control & Choke Valves sizing and selection experience.

A working knowledge of API 6A would be beneficial.
Essential qualifications:

Qualifications to HNC Level (or equivalent) or significant experience within the Sales Environment.
