Sales Team Manager – Construction / Civils £50,000 – £60,000 + 20% Bonus, Car & Benefits Huddersfield (Hybrid working) Elevation Recruitment are excited to be working with a leading manufacturer of technical products to recruit a Sales Manager. This role will manage and support the Civils division, selling into Civils/Highways/Rail/Infrastructure sectors. This is a brand new role to head up and support a team of 6 internal and external Sales. The Sales Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing a sales strategy to deliver year on year growth for the Civils team. This is a hybrid role with the requirement to visit customers when required. Sales Manager role: * Responsible for leading the Civils sales team in pro-actively delivering the specification driven sales target through effective leadership and management * Lead and manage the sales team by providing support, training and coaching to achieve departmental sales targets and KPI’s * Drive and motivate the team, manage performance through regular reviews, agreed objectives, KPI’s and annual appraisals * Understand UK and Export markets that the company operates in, design and implement plans to encourage new business development, exploration of new markets and sales opportunities * Work collaboratively and effectively alongside other departmental managers to uphold company values and deliver excellent customer service Sales Manager skills & experience: * Quantifiable track record of success in leading a Sales team within Construction / Civils * Proven successful team leadership and development of individuals performance both internal and external sales * A natural leader; motivating and inspiring teams to achieve shared goals * Driving a performance culture * Clear and effective communication of complex information
