We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Oracle Cloud and ERP Technology to join us in our Bradford office. We would also be open to the role being based from our Reading office.
Reporting to the Director of Oracle ERP and Corporate Applications, this role is responsible for the support, delivery and development across Oracle EBS, Fusion, Corporate Applications and OCI estate.
What will you be doing?
Support, development and delivery of technology components across Oracle EBS 12.2, Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Management responsibility for internal senior technical resources, developers, DBAs as well as third party partners as required.
Accountable and responsible for the following technology components; ERP Development (SQL/PLSQL, Workflow, BI Publisher etc), Reporting (SAP Business Object, Oracle Analytics Cloud, BI Publisher, OTBI), Integration (Oracle Integration Cloud Services) and Database Administration and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure tenancy.
Responsible for technical delivery of large scale projects and small works.
Planning and prioritising workload for teams to ensure projects, small works and BAU incidents are meeting delivery timeframes.
Able to understand high level business requirements and carry out effort estimation for projects and small works.
Ensure QA is performed on solution designs and that the proposed solution meets the business need/requirements and required security guidelines are met.
Ensure QA is performed on support models to make sure that the teams have all the tools/knowledge in place for supporting the applications post go live.
Able to work with external partners by clearly defining requirements, reviewing Statement of Works and managing resources.
Actively making sure Security/Compliance/Audit requirements are met to ensure platforms are compliant with controls and guidelines.
We tend to look for people with:
Significant experience in Oracle ERP/E-Business Suite 12.2 development best practices.
Significant experience in Oracle Fusion HCM/ERP Cloud technologies.
Strong Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administration.
Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud Services or similar Integration services.
Understanding of Administration of Oracle Databases, WebLogic and Oracle Application Express.
SME level development knowledge in at least three of the following areas; HRMS, Payroll, Finance (AP, AR, GL), Projects, Supply Chain, Procurement, Advance Benefits.
Significant knowledge in some of the following Oracle ERP Technologies; SQL, PL/SQL, Java, OA Framework, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Apex, BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, Forms, Personalization, UNIX scripting.
Experience working on and leading work streams on large projects.
Awareness of commercial impact of technical decisions
Excellent understanding and extended experience of the Approvals Management Engine (AME) and understanding of Oracle Multi-Org
Strong knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL and performance optimization techniques
Experience in supporting and resolving incidents for Oracle ERP related applications
Experience in working with external partners and managing external resources.
Good understanding of IT principles and best practice
Management of initiatives involving contributions from multiple teams
Excellent understanding of ERP systems and their core functionality
Broad understanding of technology
Familiar with technology incident management
Understands the importance of and able to deliver great customer service
